Relation between mass and weight
Independent variable: Mass (g)
Dependent variable: Weight (N)
Controls: Planet (Earth)
Materials: Hang weight, spring scale
Conclusion:
We got independent variable(mass) from the hanging mass, and the dependent variable(weight) from the spring scale. We can found the mass on the weight. After measured six different hang weight and put it into a cross coordinate, we found out that the relation between mass and weight is liner. And the weight is always about ten times greater than the mass. Here is the function for it. y=9.79x.
